Thoughts of Tanimachi Aloha
Creating the future from the old
at this place
It is said that in Japan, there are more kimonos lying in drawers than you can imagine.
When I bought it, it was extremely expensive and I couldn't bear to get rid of it. But for me, it has almost no value as something to wear .
For such people, Tanimachi Aloha transforms old kimonos into something to wear and creates new value in the form of aloha shirts.

What you can do at Tanimachi Aloha
When I heard from a friend who runs a kimono recycling shop that second-hand kimonos are no longer in circulation as "wearable items," I started thinking that making aloha shirts would help in recycling even a little. I have become attracted to this job where I can help preserve precious memories in a tangible form. Initially, we sold on an e-commerce site and in a small office, but now we have opened a new store called "Tanimachi Aloha" and we hope to be able to convey the charm of "Japanese Pattern Aloha" to as many people as possible. Additionally, through our connection with Aloha, we have started a ``ukulele class'' in earnest. I am looking forward to meeting many people at "Tanimachi Aloha".
