About English Rakugo Class
Tanimachi Aloha English Rakugo Class is basically a 60 minute group lesson.
(If you would like a private lesson, please contact us.)
We aim to learn rakugo from the basics and become able to perform rakugo in English in front of foreigners.
You can choose between Wednesday or Sunday.
If you miss a class unavoidably, you can transfer it to a class on another day of the week.

● Group lesson fee
Cost: 5,500 yen/month (twice/month) tax included
Admission fee 4,400 yen (tax included)

Middle-aged and elderly (35 to about 100 years old)
Any nationality
It doesn't matter if you can speak English

Sunday class twice a month 3rd and 4th Sunday ７:30pm-8:30pm

Rakugo Performer , English Teacher
In 1983, the late Mr. Shijaku Katsura started English rakugo.
She started working as a freelance performer in the fall of 2008. She has also performed in the United States (New York) and New Zealand.
Currently, she teaches English and English rakugo at schools, companies, cultural centers, etc., and performs English rakugo at live houses, universities, and inbound events.
